CINCINNATI OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT – OPERATIONAL CHANGES AT THE GRIZZLY
The Cincinnati Open returns from August 11th – 19th. Due to the Summer Olympics this year, the finals will be on Monday, August 19th. Annually, the Cincinnati Open brings national and international attention to Mason. This tournament presents a unique opportunity to showcase the versatility of the Grizzly and its proximity to tennis, fostering enhanced collaboration between golf and tennis operations.
Shortly after the tournament concludes, construction will begin on the 2025 expansion plans. Here’s what patrons of the Grizzly can expect leading up to, during, and following the 2024 Cincinnati Open:
- The driving range will be closed from August 7th – 21st.
- From August 11th-19th, the Clubhouse, Grizzly and Academy golf courses, and the Great 18 Bar and Grill will be closed to the public.
- Construction on the new shared Clubhouse will begin on August 26th.
- Fences will be placed around the construction site before construction begins.
- Guests will be directed to park in the overflow lot, located south of the outdoor patio shelters.
- Paul Flory Way will be closed to golf traffic and open for construction traffic only. All golfers and guests of the Grizzly should use the entrance at Sports Center Complex Drive.
We appreciate your patience during this time. We are excited about the City’s and Beemok’s partnership for the tennis, golf, and racquet sports campus planned for 2025!
